“For my entire adult life, I’ve been trapped in the vicious cycle of binge eating and dieting. Everyday was a battle with temptation and regret. Through my work with Nick, I was able to break the cycle quickly and my binges came to a halt, almost immediately! The things I learned allowed me to make sustainable changes around behaviors and the space in my life to focus on other things that are important to me outside of food consuming my thoughts!”
“Wildheart didn’t just save my health, they helped me reclaim my life. I see food in a new light and a more balanced way, for both pleasure, and fuel. I’ve worked with other dietitians before that couldn’t help me get to the root of my issue. Wildheart Nutrition changed that for me and helped me end my struggle with bulimia.”
Client Testimonials
“Through working with Wildheart I was able to make peace with movement and understand how to fuel my body from a place of love, not punishment. Wildheart worked with me every step of the way and I was able to not only reduce my dependence on stimulants, but change my relationship to them. I couldn’t have done it without their guidance.”
“Emily has been such a vital part of my recovery. Her presence was a huge factor in making me Feel safe and seen. I truly felt cared for throughout my time at wildheart which gave me the space and confidence to truly heal”.
Nicholas Berretta is a registered dietitian nutritionist who completed his dietetic internship at Bastyr University. He is a health at every size advocate, and a strong proponent of evidence based treatment plans for establishing a healthy relationship with food and body. With a background in biochemistry and nutrition science, he was driven initially to working with the clinical side of eating disorder treatment. After several years in this field, working closely with a wide breadth of eating disorders, he realized our relationship with food and body image is systematically associated with previous life experiences. It is this understanding that has driven Nick to further explore the research behind eating sustainably, dismissing myths propagated by diet culture, and embracing eating in a way that is helpful, as opposed to harmful, to our bodies and minds.
